We built the thing we needed.
WedSailor started as one couple's spreadsheet, three weeks before a 400-guest wedding in Chennai.
The beginning
A spreadsheet with nine tabs.
Guests on one tab, budget on another, a third for who had been called about the sangeet. Four people edited it, none of them at the same time, and the version that mattered was always the one on somebody's phone.
The wedding was beautiful. The planning was not. Afterwards we asked eleven other couples and every one of them described the same nine tabs — so we spent two years replacing them with one screen.

Guests never install anything
Invitations, RSVP and check-in are links. Your grandmother should not need an account to say yes.

Full-resolution export of every photo, guest and ledger line, any time. We never train on or sell your wedding.

The crew
Fourteen people, two cities.
Half of us have worked weddings — as planners, photographers, or the cousin who ended up running the shuttle roster. The other half build the software. Every release is tested against a real wedding happening that month.
We answer support ourselves. If you write to us during your wedding week, someone who has stood at a venue gate at 6am reads it.
